Licensed Massage Therapist

26 Years of experience

Olivier Pelletier is a highly skilled licensed massage therapist and the founder of CORE Kinetic, a specialized manual therapy approach that blends orthopedic and osteopathic techniques to relieve pain, restore mobility, and support long-term structural balance. He is licensed in both the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Originally from France, Olivier’s path into manual therapy has been shaped by extensive international training and decades of hands-on clinical experience. In 1999, he trained at the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand, before completing advanced studies in Sports Myofascial Therapy and Structural Integration under George P. Kousaleos, founder of the CORE Institute. He has also trained in injury assessment and treatment with Dr. Ben Benjamin of the Benjamin Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Olivier is currently completing an intensive three-year osteopathic manual therapy program with renowned UK osteopath John Gibbons. Olivier works with a wide range of patients, from professional and recreational athletes seeking improved performance to individuals managing chronic pain, injury recovery, or movement limitations. His thoughtful, precise approach is focused on addressing the root causes of dysfunction—helping patients return to ease of movement, reduced pain, and improved quality of life. In addition to his clinical work, Olivier holds a black belt in Shotokan Karate. He was a regional vice champion and competed in the 1993 French National Fighting Championships in Paris—an experience that continues to inform his deep understanding of biomechanics, resilience, and the demands placed on the body.
