Our Policies

CANCELLATION POLICY

Your therapy session is reserved especially for you. We value your business and kindly ask that you respect our scheduling policies.

• You may cancel your appointment without penalty up to 24 hours before your appointment.
• Same-day cancellations made at least 4 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
• Cancellations made within 4 hours of the appointment time, or no-shows, will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
• For groups of 3 or more guests, a 72-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule without penalty.

Clients who miss their appointments without prior notification will be charged in full. We recognize that the time of both our clients and therapists is valuable. Missed appointments not only result in lost business for us but also prevent other clients from booking during that time.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Deluca Massage & Bodywork recommends scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability.

• A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation.
• Your card will only be charged in accordance with our cancellation policy.
• At checkout, you may choose your preferred method of payment.

PARKING

Street parking is available near Dupont Circle. Please allow extra time to find parking before your appointment.

ARRIVAL

Appointments are designed to allow for the full experience of each service. Please arrive on time.

• Late arrivals may limit the length of your session. Treatments will end at the scheduled time, and the full fee will apply.

YOUR APPOINTMENT

To get the most out of your session, we encourage open communication with your therapist. Please share any concerns such as:

• Pressure level
• Music volume
• Comfort preferences

A brief health evaluation will be completed prior to your session to ensure your safety and provide the best possible experience. Please disclose any health conditions that may affect your massage.

Note: You must be past your 13th week of pregnancy to receive a massage.

SESSION TERMINATION

Massage services will be terminated immediately if a client makes any sexual advances or inappropriate requests. Even questionable remarks may result in termination. Massage therapy is strictly therapeutic, and professional boundaries must always be respected. Deluca Massage & Bodywork maintains a zero-tolerance policy on misconduct.

If a session is terminated for these reasons, full payment is still required.

PAYMENT POLICY

• Full payment is due at the end of service.
• We accept cash, all major credit cards, and Deluca Massage & Bodywork gift cards.
• Prepayment is available by purchasing a gift card at www.delucamassage.com or submitting a credit card authorization.

GRATUITY

Gratuity is not included in service prices. Customary tips range from 15%–20%, but the amount is entirely up to you.

• Cash is recommended and may be given directly to your therapist or at the front desk.
• For a cashless option, we offer Tippy (additional fees may apply).

ETIQUETTE & MOBILE USE

Our facility is a place of tranquility and relaxation. To maintain this environment:

• Please silence or turn off mobile phones.
• Smoking is not permitted.
• Voices should be kept low at all times.

Walk-ins are welcome and accommodated based on availability. A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation.

GROUP EVENTS

For groups of 3 or more guests, a 50% refundable deposit is required and will be applied to the main contact’s account at the time of booking.

Refund Policy:

• Deposits are refundable if the group cancels 72+ hours (3 days) prior to the scheduled appointment.
• Deposits are non-refundable if the group cancels within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment.

DISCOUNTED PACKAGES & GIFT CARDS

• Valid for services at Deluca Massage & Bodywork only.
• Not redeemable for cash.
• Deluca is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use.
• If the purchase exceeds the card balance, the client is responsible for the difference.
• Additional value may be added at any time.
• Packages and gift cards are non-refundable.
• Please note: If service rates increase, the per-massage value of the package may be adjusted accordingly.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your personal information is used solely for internal business purposes.

• We do not sell, rent, or lease your information to third parties.
• Information is used to manage accounts, process payments, provide customer service, and communicate updates or promotions.
• Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Your massage session and health information are completely confidential. Information will only be released if legally required (e.g., subpoena).
